C.Buehlmayer

was established in 1820 and was since 1835 upgraded to the gilder of the Austrian Monarchy.

Situated in Vienna's historic 1st district, C. Bühlmayer is a renowned gilder and frame company, specialising in antique frames, mirrors, carvings and furniture, as well as in the trade of antique furniture. Frames are produced, restored and gilded true to their original style, using traditional techniques and craftsmanschip in our wholly owned workshops.

Curriculum vitae

Born in Austria, Benedikt Haider has been trained as an interior designer for three years before he started his aprenticeship as a gilder and restorer at C.Buehlmayer in 2002.

In Jan.2007 he passed his master craftsman examination at the "Innung der Vergolder Wien".(Guild of the Gilders Vienna)

After leading the workshop of the Austrian company for 2 years, he established the new subsidiary in Florida in Sept.2009.

In Feb.2010 he moved from Austria to Florida with his family to improve the new branch.
